What this site stores

What the site stores, where and for how long
WhatWhereHow long
Your cookie choiceIn your browser: in browser storage and in our own cookie, eetloket_consent.The cookie expires after six months. The copy in browser storage stays until you clear it or we ask again.
Where you came fromIn your browser (session storage): the UTM values and click ID of an ad link, the previous page and the page you landed on.Until you close the tab. It only leaves your browser if you send the demo form.
Your demo requestWhat you fill in (name, email, restaurant, country, POS, how your guests order, what you want to fix, message, phone), your language and where you came from. It goes to Coderr Studio by email, through an email delivery service. The site itself doesn't keep it in a database. How long we keep a demo request is still to be decided.
Your IP address, with a requestIn the server's memory, to stop repeated sending. An hour at most.

Until you choose, everything is off except what the site needs. You choose per kind:

Necessary (always on)
Remembering your choice itself, and keeping the site secure.
Analytics
Measuring how visitors use the site, so we can improve it.
Marketing
Measuring which campaign or ad brought a visit, and tailoring ads to that.

The button opens the cookie choice at the bottom of the page again. You can withdraw any time; what was already measured stays measured.

Third parties

For analytics and marketing, the site uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. The tag manager loads with everything set to denied. Until you consent, Google's tags set no cookies; they only send signals without a cookie, such as that a page was viewed and which choice you made. Allow analytics or marketing, and only those parts switch on.

A demo request goes through an email delivery service. When error monitoring is on, a technical report of an error on the site goes to an error monitoring service.

If you're in the EU

The GDPR gives you the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict its processing, object, and take your data with you.

We use analytics and marketing only with your consent. We process a demo request because you ask us to. You can complain to a data protection authority; in the Netherlands that's the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

If you're in the United States

For visitors in the United States, state privacy laws may give you rights to know what personal information we collect, to have it deleted or corrected, and to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising.

Reject marketing in the cookie choice, and advertising cookies stay off. To use any of these rights, contact us at the address above.
